Default CRX JDM SiR headlights & corner lights

I have 89 CRX Si.

I just got the JDM front end conversion with bumper and headlights. When it comes to the corner lights, I asked for the 88-89 JDM version with the 2 screws. I'm lining up the headlights and corner lights right now, and they don't seem to line up, with the tabs in the back running into each other and all. Should I have asked for the 90-91 version of the coners?

I didn't know of any other difference in the corner lights between the years other than the screws for the older years and slip on clip for the newer.

My car is being borrowed, out of town for a few days, so I can't put things in to see for myself. I'm hoping someone can tell me before my return/exchange period is over.

BTW, I did try to search but came up empty.

the sir lights never came in the 88-89 style, the b16 was first introduced as a 89 model and all the 89 had the facelift 90 style no hole lights

If you are looking for the newer style headlights, go with the EDM set. They are better in every way over the jdm set. As mentioned, they came only on late 1989 through 1991 models over sea's.
Here's a pic of the stock plastic jdm ones

Here's a pic of the EDM set i upgraded too (lhd lenes, made of glass, use H4 bulbs)

Check on Ebay. Search for EF8 Headlights, you'll see a few from UK or Euro. Not today though.

I bought mine from Europe. Here's a shot of the back to show they fit normal H4 bulbs instead of the goofy h4h Japan uses
