Default ls vtec suggestions please

hey i bought a b18b1 yesterday and im needing some guidence on whether i should use a gsr head or a b16 head and some reasons, also on which ecu to use i have a p28 and a p75( i believe thats what it is, its out of the 94 ls teg i got the engine from)im also planning on using the gsr tranny.

i feel kinda dumb but what are the CTR pistons that are refered to? i was planning on using the stock pistons, i read that there are very few differences between a b18b1 and c1 block, i know that some of the c1 parts are beefyer than the b1 but i didnt know that included the pistons.
