tilton twin disk not full disengaging in first/second gear
i have a tilton twin disk w/ hydraulic throwout bearing and tilton master cylinder. sometimes when i'm coming to a stop and i'm in first or second gear [not in neutral] but i'm stepping on the clutch i feel the car jerking back as if it was still in gear. my assumption is that the clutch is not full disengaging. so i raised the clutch pedal and still doing it. i bled the line numerous times and it's still doing the same thing. this is also giving me problems getting into second gear at high rpms. when shifting at 9000rpm i have to basically step on the clutch and hold it briefly before i can pull it all the way into second gear or else it'll miss second. what could be causing this. should i switch it back to the fork and regular throwout bearing.
i'm pretty sure it's not the tranny since i never had this problem until i installed the twin disk.

are you sure you are not overstroking the clutch. It would give the symptoms you are talking about.
I have used the tilton throw out bearing on many cars with success,it just takes a little time to setup correctly. Some people would rather not deal with it, but it does work.

do you have a clutch stop on your pedal? i was having similiar problems with mine, and after a bunch of adjustments to the upper and lower clutch stops i got it perfect. im running a shaved oem tob for what its worth...
