here are some recent pics of my white gangsta ej8, i just got a urethane mugen lip for it .. and a turbo comin very soon hopefully.

i'm very confused as to whats gunna looke better: paintmatched sides and lip, or keep it the way it is

keep it like that it looks clean. imma say wat everyone says doe.....get some mirrors and lower it more

 

what mirrors?? i always hear that .. but i like never even notice mirrors. and i wish i could lower it more .. but it aint happenen in nepa

the lip just makes everything look cheap.

 

take off the lip, paint everything, and then put it back on. looks like crap with it on

I think that lip looks stupid, a 99-00 mugen style lip on 96-98 looks SO out of place, get a 96-98 replica CTR and paint it, would look MUCHHHHH better

or a nice SIR lip

Usually I would say this but I think yours would look better matched.

Sense that lip covers the bottom part of the bumper in the middle it looks sort of odd where it "cuts off" the white part in the middle of the lower grille, if that makes sense

I doesnt look like the bumper is connected on at the bottom if that helps any more.

say what? the lip isnt connected to the bumper at the bottom .. and are u referring to the middle part .. to get that paintmatchced?

 

match paint since your not wanting ctr lip

and is your muffler looks really badly aligned or is it just the angle

 

nope .. thats what u get when u take ur muffler piping to get done by a local shop. i'll never do it again

 

Gangsta eh? I suggest you get a lip that is actually made to fit your bumper.

 

it would look nicer w/o the tint and yellow fogs but thats just me peep my ek on my bio.

 

I say sell the lip, get an sir lip, and some thin molding and don't paint match them

i dont really dig the yellow fogs on white coupes .. but i put yellow bulbs in the fogs so at night theyre yellow. i'm keepin my tint and i like that lip much more than my sir that i had. i know everyone hates on it .. but its my style for right now .. i'm diggin my whip .. my next mod is putting an intercooler between both of my foglights

yea that was just for a little while .. i got 3 black plastic push pins or whatever theyre called installed there now.. so its mounted on there pretty good

 

i love the lip haha when i paint my car the tint is the first to gooo personally i think it looks fresh w/o tint.....haha yup almost

Yeah, IMO I say ditch the lip, lower it a little bit more and it'll look real good...but clean car nonetheless..

Like others have stated. Loose the fake lip and get a lip that was actually made for that front end.

 

That lip is a major eye sore lol, get an SIR lip, leave it black, get thin BLACK side moldings, and you'll be set for life
