***HOW MUCH IS MY HX COUPE WORTH FULLY BUILT B16***
alright, i traded my hatch for this along with plenty of other stuff. its a 1996 civic coupe hx, 5sp. it has a B16 motor with eagle crank, eagle rods, new bearings, new oil pump, new forged (ROSS) low compression pistons (9:0). The block has been bored out to 81.5mm and a new cometic head gasket, The transmission is a GSR with a 6 puck sprung clutch. The motor currently has 2000 miles on it and has a chipped P28 computer. the car rides good. i dont have the money to boost it to the motors potential. the car has power windows, power locks, it does not have power steering but comes with everything except it needs the b-series bracket and its ready to go, the a/c needs a belt tensioner and the compressor needs to be mounted. the p/s pump and a/c pump come with the car. just want to know if i got my moneys worth.
interior is clean, the exterior is fair.

Hope you have reciepts for all that stuff...
I'd say 9k ish, if you have the receipts and is the title clean? How many miles on the chassis?

Are you high? 9k? Half that, try again.
Probably around 4500, 5k tops.
You don't get back what you put into it. Not to mention if it's built to be boosted you dropped the compression so it's slower than a stock B16..and since it has the GSR transmission instead of the B16 transmission it's even slower still.
What you have there is a boost ready engine (by boost ready I mean the buyer would have to sink another 3k into it) that's putting down ~130hp at the wheels with a long transmission.

Agreed, it is only worth as much as a buyer is willing to pay, anything else is just speculation. Post it for sale and see what people offer you.
