are there ne benifits over a reman axel and or a oem from honda...ones alot cheaper i know, this but is the perfomence downfall? and any good sites on the net to find 1

 

I've used reman axels and haven't had any problems YET. You can find reman axles at your local auto parts store.

 

Thats what I've used. You can get them from advanced auto, auto zone, and similar places.

 

Most reman axles are garbage. They do have a lifetime warranty though, but who wants to go under the car every year to replace them. I have been doing this for a few years now, I'm finally going to break down and get some Raxles ( http://www.raxles.com ) . From everyone I have talked to, they are better than new.

 

Had a friend who got remain axles at advanced drove on them for like 2500 miles and after about 700miles had a weird vibration upon braking and thought it was the brakes checked them out and everything was fine about 1800 miles later trans went out and it was because of the junk axles, go to napa they have brand new ones for 75$ and come with a lifetime warranty. I have them and have 3000 miles on them and no probs.
