02 F4i, tail has been repainted but stickers on the rest of the plastics, would I be able to raise a good chunk to buy a Repsol set for 1000? Also does vin indicate if a bike was "repsol" or repsol bikes are just different in the plastics?

Saw a whole set (lowers, upper, tail, tank, fender) silver/red on ebay go for 1200.

 

Anybody had any experience with that kits from d9industries?

 

i'd say anywhere between 600-1000 for a full set of nice F4i plastics.

 

The ebay ones are junk. I know 1 person out of 1000 that can say they were good, but seriously. Most of the stuff has to be re-drilled, and a couple parts didn't even fit.

Repsol never made a 600 either, so you won't find anything that says " repsol fairing " or an ID if thats what your looking for.

 

Yeah the kits from D9 are about twice as much as the ebay ones so I would hope they are better. I wonder what their return policy is.
