my driver side rear quarter panel as a decent amount of rust on it and it was bondo before i got the car and now its looking ruf. im not sure if i should go out and buy a new quarter for it or just fix my self with fiber glass or some thing like that, What do u think i should do?

 

i donno if u know this but rear quarters dont just unbolt form a car

 

its rusting around the bondo? my hood had major rust when i bought it, i used sand paper, started at a high grit and work down to a smoother grit. then paint over with touch-up. that worked for me, im not sure exactly how big of an amount of rust your talking about...

 

Yea i know that one, its tricky cuz u have to cut and do measurments

 

yea it rusted around the bondo, and its not surface rust its through on one spot and really weak and easy to put a hand through, so ill prolly have to do some cutting, when ever i can get a pic of it ill show ya

 

Cuting and welding is the only way to fix it permantly.
