Default What mounts are you guy's using?

I dont know if this is the right area, so im sure ill be told if not. I got a 91 hatch I plannin on swappin a gsr into soon, and im lookin for a good mount kit. I was using the avid kit on my gsr swapped coupe and the stupid tranny mount broke in half and ended fallin on the ground. So im askin what are you guys using that are of a good quality? And has good hood clearence? So let me know what ya got?

my car came with avid mounts from jazzpro...whoever did the swap left out a bolt, but i fixed that and they have been great for 2+ years, roughly 30,000 miles

Hasport.. Alotta ppl dont know that if a mount ever breakes any part you send that part in and they replace it free!

i have hasport on my tranny side and rear. but i had a weird one on my driver side..its like steel gray with red bushing?? for some reason my motor tils on the driver side..and my pulley is eating my radius bar..whats the cause?? oh and i have lsvtec in my sedan

ive been running the HCP mounts and shift linkage for the last 2 1/2 yrs and they are still holding strong.

same for me too.

I will be switching to hasports so I can run a hydro tranny though.

mounts are mounts as long as they are well made. what are the names on the good ebay mounts people are running?

Yea my mounts are the old school hapsorts with the super H ingraved in the side trans mount. My original bushing were worn and tearing, so I sent them back and had the refilled at no charge.

thats most likely because you are using a mixed set of mounts. most all mount kits put the motor in different locations.


I'm using hasport mounts with a GSR motor, and I had to cut the webbing under the hood to clear the valve cover, and even then it rubs slightly.
they're great mounts, no engine movement.

Thats exactly what i didnt wanna do is cut the webbing. So anybody with hasports and gsr have clearence isssues?

I have been using Innovative's for a while and have no complaints. Perfect fit, and no vibs, and priced very well. Anything you use will get the job done.
