90 si rev limiter

90 si rev limiter
i have a 90 si hatch and i dont know it it has a rev limiter. i have taken it into red line but never felt something hit. just curious if it had one. thanks

If you have a stock ecu that nobody has been into it most definatly has a rev limiter. Should be 6800rpm.
When you hit it you will know it. Sont be afraid to pull it all the way up. It likes it.

Yeah it should pop by 7,000 RPM if it revs over 7 then your ECU has been changed or modified. It won't hurt it to take it up to redline though it does like it

The pm6 actaully has 3 rev limits. When the car is completey cold or out of time a little bit it will hit 6800.
Semi warm it will hit 7200 and when the motor is fully warn you will have a rev limit 7500
