Shock question???

Some shock companies recommend that the shocks not be run at completely full stiff, to help prevent the internals from jamming.
However, the setting on the shock should not really effect the usable lifespan.
My Konis are run full soft of the street, and full stiff for autocross (yeah, its a hack fix for handling). 2 years of daily use and 20 something events, and they're still perfectly fine. I fully expect the shocks to outlive the car.

i agree with the manufacturer prevention. But every single shock and withstand full stiffness without any problem.
