it would be too high compression for a street motor, in my opinion. thats in the area of 13:1 compression.

Default FV-QR

If youre gonna build a motor why put OEM parts in? just spend a little extra money youll be better off in the long run

stock h22 rods on 95mm stroke with the type s will put your pistons ~.080" out of the hole. according to the compression calculator, with that combo, you will be at 15.82:1 comp. Good luck use the h23 rods. Even with those, and a stock thickness headgasket, your cr is about 13:1.

with the extra stroke of the h23, them type s pistons just make crazy compression unless you get a thicker headgasket. in which case you could just as well use base h22 pistons and a stock headgasket.

also i forgot to ask which head you are using.. I'm assuming the h22, but the smaller combustion chamber on the H23 head will put all of these values almost a full number higher

better parts aren't a little exra, they're a lot.. especially if you go forged. With an h23 stroke you can bust out some serious compression with stock FRM compatible h22 pistons.

also remember that type s pistons have floating wrist pins so that would need to be modded
