92 Accord has no spark at plugs
Hello,
I just put a new(used) motor in my 92 accord. After double checking all connections, I tried its first initial start. No fuel pump running and no spark at the plugs. Checked fuel pump and it runs with manually hooking a hot wire to it. Replaced fuel relay under dash and it doesn't run still. No spark at the plug. Have over 12 volts at coil wire. Tested ICM by checking voltage at blk/yel, why/blu, yel/grn, and all had voltage with key on. Checked the ignitor resistor and have good voltage at connection. The car has or had an aftermarket alarm on it. It no longer is on the car as of last night. Thought maybe there was a kill switch of some sort from unplugging the battery. I have pretty much wore out my Chilton, and I am now lost and don't know where to go next. Any and all advice is appreciated
Thanks
Chris

was the distributor ever off?
does it crank over when u turn the key? i just rebuilt a suzuki motor in a chev tracker and had the same problem because the ditributor was 180 degrees out of time. as far as the pump check your ground, if that isnt it look into the wiring for the alarm again.

Mr Yamada,
You are the man!!!!! Unfortunately I have to admit to the stupidity of one single ground wire. Runs like a champ. Now I can quit driving that expensive diesel.
thank you
