cel 7, 16, and 42 but car runs fine?
My car throws 7 tps sensor, 16 fuel injectors, and 43 Fuel supply but the car runs fine. These codes began showing up after I used my brother's 'code thrower' O2 sensor so I wasn't suprized when cels began flashing.
However, I just got a new O2 and the cels are still there. Huh?
Ok here's the background. New TPS a couple months ago, new fuel filter five months ago, new o2 last week (to replace my brother's). Car runs fine. Gets 31-35 mpg and is running neptune.
Wiring issue? Fuel pump? Fuel filter?

I doubt its the fuel filter, Did you clear the codes and see if they came back after the O2 Sensor was replaced?
there are only 2 problems that can occur with a tps sensor, its either Stuck open or stuck closed..when its stuck open its like a big vacumn leak
What youd wanna do is cover the intake with your hand, if the engine stalls, the tps is stuck closed, if it dosnt it means the engines getting its air from somewhere else..
but my first suggestion would be to clear the codes and see if they go aWAY

Thanks for the reply. I have cleared the codes but I'll do it again since I can't remember the last time I did and see if they come back.
Any more suggestions?

Maybe this piece of info could help: the cels show up at different times. Somtimes I'll drive the car for 30min before they flash while other times they show up right after I pull out of the driveway.
I can't reiterate enough, the car runs great. Gets good mpg and shows no symptoms whatsoever while driving; it just throws these random codes.
Are these cels related? TPS. But how do the fuel injector code and the fuel supply code relate to the tps code?

Did you set the new TPS sensor correctly when you installed it? (0.45 volts closed? I think)
The code 16 is set when there is a break in the electrical circuit for the injectors. The main relay is the most likely suspect, followed byt the injector clips, coils, resistors (if applicable), and all the wiring in between.
It's possible the main relay is just intermittent enough to set the code 16 and disrupt the injectors duty cycle, causing the other code 43, fuel supply. I would pull and resolder the circuit board of the main relay, or replace it, wichever is more convenient for you.

Ahhh, yes the main relay. My brother had the most persistent, intermitant stalling problem for like a year before he changed the main relay. I'll definatly take a look at it.
The tps is set correctly.
The tps is set correctly.
