Default DSM engine honda distributor and ecu

If i remember correctly there was a miata that had done this swap.

I thought i saw something about a dsm with honda ecu somewhere i cant remember where [anyone else know?] the biggest problem would be mounting the distributor the dsm engine spins the opposite direction... any ideas?

I promise you guys that SHep runs an AEM honda box and has forever. Nobody made a box for his car so the adapted the honda box to the dsm harness.

I actually think those are 300m coils.

its fairly common for the dsm guys to use the honda aem boxe's.

since you can change your ignition pick up in the software (cam trigger etc) it would be very simple to make the ecu run a non honda engine. especially since you can change all of the engine sensors as well.

I'm assuming this for the red DSM you were in the other night? What are your plans for that? No more Honda?

Thanks again for the header.

no need for it now. AEM makes a box for the 1g and 2g. I have a 1g box in my car now.

We run 1050 boxes because they have the most outputs. It used to be called the "race" box from AEM. It just had the most pins on the harness. other than that its the same stuff

I'm have a 30-1050 AEM box for my 2JZ build. They work great, and are a good value!

All this in a Nissan chassis. My car is really a mixed bread

You can run whatever trigger you want. I'm running a 12-1 CAS trigger like Tony1 makes for hondas.
