well... at the rate i'm going i could be broke by then. I'm hopfeully getting my scholarship back so I won't have to worry bout tuition, but i work much less during school so I need to slave while summer's here save up some cash. Thank God it seems as if i should be done with all my part shopping by monday

 

in GA, if you had a 3.0 in highschool, and keep the 3.0 in college, they will pay for your school..but im still in credit card debt..but no school debt..

 

similar system here only mine was 3.0 in hs, then only a 2.5 in college... my gpa dropped to a 2.43... go figure... one whole year without scholarship

 

Shouldn't this be in the members forum? Not really pertains to FI does it?

 

I'm about to leave in a month for college. I'm dead broke almost. I've got money to cover my tution, and I'll have to cover my living expenses and place out of pocket. Looks like I'll be signing up for a credit card when I get there.

Im in the same boat as you folks pretty much.. I have $3000 to my name. and next week I'll have about nothing because of boost. ..and I'm not even taking the car to college.

same thing here. have a 3.5 in hs and then a 3.0 in college get school payed for. but im in summer school too, so i have to pay for that. and now our school raised tuition and i got the bill today, they are now trying to charge me the extra money from increased tuition for the FIRST summer session that was done with about 3 weeks ago. freaking crap.

 

Nice. I know that there are only 2 things to look forward to when the school semester rolls around again......Mo money and closer to being done. I didnt go to hs here is cali, so they told me I can take my 3.45 college gpa and go whine elsewhere. I have a few scholarships and some good ol' pell grants kicking in.

deferrment . . thats all i gotta say , i got mine deffered till 6 months after im out . and they even deferred my old ones while im going back . . . so by the time i start paying on them , my car will be paid along with all my other debt. . . hopefully

 

is that schoalrship thing with the HS gpa thing...for state schools or something? Who funds the schoalrship?
