any help...battery light is on when the car is idle but turns off when you accelerate and turns back on when you let go of the accelerator.... any help please? check engine light did not turn on.

You may only need a new brush pack as opposed to a complete Alternator.
If you can tap on the alternator at idle and the battery light shuts off when you are tapping, the brushes have worn out
The shroud is removeable from the rear of the alternator and the brushes are held in with 2 very tight phillips screws.

 

is it a 98-02 V6 accord? if so, change the alt to a TL unit as it is not a POS delphi unit
