9s cars how much boost to launch?

Every car is different. There are so many variables it's hard to say they all use the same psi.
Think about what needs to happen when you launch the car. Then work out in your mind what you think would work and start there...it's all a learning process we all have to go through.
Keep records so you have some knowledge of what worked and what did not work so you don't repeat the same mistakes.

We only launch at 7-8 PSI but....

....he ^^^^^^^ is right. Every set up is different. Check your logs and see were you need to pull or add some power. What works for me, might not work for you.
