gsr cluster in crx fuel gauge dont work
i just insatlled a 97 gsr cluster in my 91 crx and everything works except the fuel gauge...i ckecked the wiring three times and its correct . it just sits on empty help will be greatly appreciated
I just got done installing a 2001 ITR cluster in my 90 CRX. At first I had that problem, than i checked the grounds and one of them was a bit loose in the connector. It could also be that you might be low on fuel. What I also noticed is that the write ups might not be correct for all clusters and models. What I would also suggest is looking at the back of the cluster and follow the fuel gauge circuit on both clusters. Put the wire from the EF cluster that was in the fuel gauge spot and install that on your DC plug matching the fuel gauge circuit on the DC cluster. If I remember correctly there was a T on the left side for Temperature and F on the right for Fuel... Hope this helps...

Hey Man I am haveing the same problem in my 91 crx si the fuel gauge will go to empty and wont come up did you fix you problem and if so can you help me
It could be wired wrong. I had that problem; I was using the wrong year(I think) gauge cluster plugs so it had the fuel level wire in a different spot. I ended up just following the traces on the circuit to figure it out. Works fine now.
that was it thanks k2e2vin
