Default First ever motor build(LS/V pr3s)

Hey guys im building my first motor ever with my mechanic. So far the bottom end is sporting brand new pr3 pistons and arp rod bolts.Im a bit undecided on the head but leaning towards gsr for the small bump in compression.Im trying to achieve 200hp and im a bit lost on how to get there.Im going to continue searching and looking at other setups similar to mine but if anyone has any suggestions id appreciate it

Im running similar set up in my hatch. Very reliable. Daily drove it for 2 years with GSR cams in a b16 head. Then finally put valvetrain and cams in. I think with a good heardwork wit that block you can achieve 200+. I made 197 Unported b16 head with hsl cams on same block.

gl to you.

stock head w/ manifold/springs/retainers and pro1's will make 200whp w/ that bottom end.

Just make sure that you get it tuned IMMEDIATELY after the build.

Don't run on your friends chip that ran well w/ a similar setup or any basemap crap.... save up the $ before hand and get it tune right from the get go

check the surface w/ a straight edge, if its good then you're in the green.
