swap options? keeping tranny.
i may end up needing to swap out my engine, and i want to up size, currently have a b18a1 block, with a gsr head, i have a 2000 civic si tranny with a 7lb aluminum flywheel, and a six puck clutch, 5th gear is touchy, i want to find a 6spd, in time, are there any out there that flywheel and clutch will work in? but right now the main issue is, keeping that in mind, what motor do u recomend?
well, heres the deal, there is repairing my block, so really thats where i am at. rsx's are the k series engines correct? would a k22 or k23 (type s, yes?) fit in my car? its a 92 civic hatch. and does anyone know if the clutch is same as well?
it k's will fit in your car with the correct mount kit (such as from hasport) and other components. The clutch and flywheel is different for the k and b series. Basically B series tranny will only fit on b series motors without modifications.

h2b a using an h series motor with slight mods and a custom kit to bolt a b series tranny on. drop it right into a civic/integra utilizing b series parts. just search. its really crazy with h2b now. pretty sure you'll find alot of info, dyno numbers, and track numbers about them.
