if anyone can help me please do
This weekend I installed a clutchmasters lightweight flywheel and clutch with no problems at all everything runs great but now I'm getting a code 1 on my ecu and cel. when reinstalling the transmission we broke the wire connecting the o2 sensor which we rewired and put back together. Still getting ecu code though. Now today I'm driving and my battery light is coming on at around 2,000 or so. I'm soo confused. Maybe I missed a ground or something if anyone can tell me all the ground locations in the engine compartment that would be awesome so I can check them. Also I removed my Ac compressor, drier and condenser. Please someone help me.
When your remove the AC, did you cut any wires? Did you remove any of the grounds while doing that, there are a few that I have seen people remove thinking they were part of the AC (over near the pass side headlamp)
It sounds as if you may have an open wire grounding.
The main grouds are that you should check would be the thermostat housing, valve over, and the transmission.
Since you just had the tranny out, I would check there. There should be a ground on the front top of the tranny, just about under the battery tray.
Also, may sure that where the tranny goes to the block, you didn't catch any other wires other than the O2 wire that you know you caught.

with the 1 wire o2 sensor, there are actually 2 wires. there is a wire within the larger wire. when splicing these 2 togather it will fault the sensor. dont hold me too it but when i bought a bosch unviersal 1 wire my code still tripped. i noticed when splicing the sensor there were actually 2 seperate wires. so the code 1 being o2 that would explain that. now the battery light, check alt. belt for loose ness and run a system test on your alternator, any local honda dealer or even autozone should do it for free. i know we offer a 40 point free inspection at my dealership.

check the wire again.
check the wire again.
What do you mean by there being two wires connected to the o2 sensor I was just checking that wire out and I can't seem to find two wires anywhere are you talking about inside the o2 sensor it self. Also I have tested my alternator and figured out that my voltage regulator is bad. Its causing my tach to stop running and my shift light to stay on. I'm still confused though a little bit.
I think what he was refering to is the shielding wire that is woven and wrapped around the outside of the actual wire (yours might not be the same) (I assume thats what it is)

I would guess that the igniter may be the culprit.
