I got oil leak from the studs that go into the exhuast manifold. I had to retap it because some of the holes was stripped. I don't have studs going into all of the holes.

J/W IF I can just go buy some studs and use Hondabond inside the hole with the studs.
Only leaking in the red areas.

i also have this problem and oil goes down and gunks up on front top of oil pan-never lose too much to notce on dipstick though-i thought it may be the exhaust manifold gasket

 

how long have you been driving like that?

 

are you sure something else isnt leaking? valve seals, headgasket valvecover gasket?

i doubt that manifold studs are in oil jackets

 

i've been driving like this since i had the car...could it be fuel or anything else coming from the combustion chamber???

 

dunno, alot of things can cause that, leaky headgasket, valvecover gasket, bad valve seals,. etc

 

Kinda found out the problem. It was the main head studs, two of them was not tight. But I still have a lot of oil in the holes? I guess it was the studs
