I really need to get new brakes for my CRX HF.

I want to swap to larger brakes, but I currently have 13" wheels. Kinda tough to explain buying all new wheels and tires when I just need new brakes.... So, what is the largest brake I can squeeze into a 13" wheel?

 

I tried my 13" spare wheel over 262mm brakes and it didnt clear them, i wouldnt run 13" steel wheels on anything bigger than 242mm brakes

 

I have 89 Integra rotors/calipers on my CRX and used to have 13" wheels that fit. I was led to believe the 88-89 Teg brakes were a hair bigger than the 88+ CRX Si brakes, but the CRX brakes offered more choices.

 

Why do you feel you need bigger brakes.

 

Powerslots or Brembo blanks, and a set of HAWK HPS pads with make a difference so will Stainless Braided lines and new brake fluid.
