2007 Honda Accord V6 Hybrid-anyone make aftermarket suspension for it?
My girlfriend's father just purchased a brand new 2007 Honda Accord V6 Hybrid. He loves everything except the cushy suspension. He's looking for spring/strut combo or even a full coilover setup to give him a little more feedback and performance. I've called Eibach and TeinUSA but neither company makes pieces for that model.
I was wondering if maybe someone has used aftermarket suspension pieces from the regular 07 Accord V6 on the Hybrid model? I know the Hybrid model weighs a couple hundred pounds more so that adds even more questions. Even if you get the non Hybrid suspension will it handle and ride better b/c of the extra weight b/c the kit wasn't meant for such a heavy car?
All input would be greatly appreciated!!

Are you looking for springs or coilovers?
Either choice should bolt right on of a 4cylinder or V6 03-07 Accord

Yeah but the hybrid weighs over 300lbs more. He wants a more responsive suspension w/ better feedback not just a lowered stance. Will the springs/coilovers last w/ the extra weight and will it make the car feel better? That's the question.

I have a 07 Hybrid Accord dropped on 19's... It got a little lower in the back than the drop said becuase the added weight for the battery pack. But all the suspension seemed to be the same. I used Tein lowering coils. I did have to roll the fenders on a 235/35/19 w/ a +40 offset. Pic is my avatar. I am doing intake next Cutting up a AEM for the non Hybrid version due to the addition of the MAF sensor. Next will be nice quite custom dual exhaust system. Both adding a little more power and MPG. And it will be funny if they can hear the car shut off at a light then I can pull away from them. As it stands I can pull away from RSX type S by cars lol... 265hp and the extra 100ft lbs from the electric motor makes for fun at lights.
Cool thanks. I purchased the Tein Basics for him and hopefully we'll install it soon. It'll be on factory wheels so we won't have to worry about rolling fenders.

Bump to that. Wow JDMdippinEJ1 pulls away from RSX-Ss in absolute silence. That is one of the coolest things I have seen on this forum. And when you get that custom exhaust installed, (thread that b*tch pix and all, obviously) the delay between you pulling away and then 3 seconds give or take and then boom a custom exhaust....that is going to be even trippier. Props to u my friend, thats creativity.
Thanks! And you know what is sad? I swap cars as a hobby and bought this as a comuter car to leave alone. Now I think I wanna do alot more to it. Sad that my GSR w/ a b20 and full suspension is taking the back burner to a v6 Hybrid Accord lol
