For $10? maybe. It is not a wax. Its a polisher for removing swirls after wet sanding paint .

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before you attempt to use this product follow this advice. Go out and buy the Mothers or Clay Magic, clay bars. Use this (the clay)on the car and follow the directions. Your life will be much easier. You will have great results. This product(3m) is intended for use on new or like new finishes. By using the clay you can get an older paint to "act" like new. If you dont this **** will cake up and cause you to wnat to light the whole car on fire..

Good luck.

Zach

ps. Are you using a machine buffer with a foam pad? -you know those ones that look like an angle grinder?

You won't get the results out of the product you want if you apply it by hand (no matter what the bottle says). You need a high speed polisher like the Porter Cable 7424 and the pad kit from Classic Motoring Accessories. I say this because the product needs to be broken down by the heat produced from the PC to actually work right, if not it will leave a nasty looking haze on your car. The product will remove minor oxidation and minor swirls. Use a claybar like SoloSol said, then use the 3M-SMR, then Dawn wash the car, and finally you can either apply a wax or go with a polish and sealant glaze.

You should have a clay bar anyway no matter what wax you are using. Its just a nice way to ceep everything nice and easy. Give the liquid glass in the tin can. It works wonders on my black delsol.

There's nothing that will work to well for swirls if applied by hand. Meguairs might be a tad bit easier to work with, but not much since it too has to be broken down. I would pay someone to do it (around $100) or buy the pc ($109 at Lowes), Claybar (around $15), 3M-SMR ($12), and pad kit from CMA(around $74 including shipping) and be able to do it all the time yourself, it would pay for itself within 2 uses. Plus, you could detail other peoples cars for $$$. If you get 2 people for a full car detail for $130....130x2=$260 which will be more money than you spent on the materials all together.
