I DID MY RESEARCH!

People on the forums are saying a bad seat belt can cause the srs light to come on? Also the dealership will fix a bad seat belt for free (lifetime warranty)? My seat belt is really tricky when it comes to inserting it so will they cover that and fix the srs light?

The srs light never came on even though my seat belt doesn't lock (need to do that trick), why did it come on that night? Things I was doing... putting my key into the on position to adjust the windows a couple of times (on and off), friend opened his door a couple of times and closed it... as we were heading out I notice the srs light was on... any ideas?

i went to the dealership and had two bad front seat belts. replaced and srs light turned off. covered under that warranty.

 

Sweet, just called and was verified that seat belts have life time warranty.
