Default Almost done with wide tire kit install... **Pics**

I finally got a day off to work on my bike yesterday, and so far I am pleased with the outcome. I still need to put the chain and exhaust on, and clean up the undertail. I tried bumping my old thread up with the update, but it has been archived

Here are a couple pics of the progress. I just got a box o' parts this morning, so hopefully I can finish it tonight.

more pics when I get finished

if i took them off, it leaves places in the tail where you can clearly see where they went before, the only way to get rid of that is with a catalyst racing tail section...but its fiberglass

i replaced all the silver parts with black powder coated parts today, so it makes them less noticeable.

the bike is complete except for the chain, and I am taking it tomorrow to have the chain pressed on, i can't wait to ride it again so i can see how bad the handling was affected. not that I ever really cornered it before, but i hope i didn't lose much if any.

it's ok, you ride a busa with a stretch. it could be worse, you could be some clown on a teeny tiny 600 with a stretch.
