how to disable the antenna?

Default how to disable the antenna?

i just got a 2000 integra gsr and I'm already not a fan of the antenna always going up even if i'm listening to a cd. i read somewhere that there is a cable you can cut or something to disable it. can anyone help? thanks in advance.

Dont cut anything just unplug the antenna motor.

so take out that big interior panel and just unplug? thank you.

cut the blue wire going to your headunit (if it's aftermarket) and that will do it

You don't need to take out the whole panel. Remove the rear panel below the latch for the hatch. Remove the bolt behind the driver side panel cover and the plastic clip below. Unclip half of that panel and reach behind to unplug the antenna power wire.

holly crap u made that way to difficult... pull back the carpet cover, put your hand in there my the antenna and unplug the damn thing... its that simple!

That has nothing to do with sending power to the antenna motor.
