Default transmission question

i notice my car is leaking a little bit of tramission fluit from the right side axle i know i have to replace the transmission seal but witch one the inner or outer ?and i do i have to drop the transmission to replace the seals. Another question is where do i put the transmission fluit at? i notice next to the breather there is a screw that looks like a plug also in the back of the transmission there is a sensor with 2 screw holding it could i put fluit threw those two spots>

The outer axle seal probably needs to be changed. You don't have to drop the tranny to do it.

Part number: 91205-PC9-711

You can fill from the VSS hole.

just make sure you have the correct fill bolt out, if you fill it up at the vss..just so you wont over fill it..

Tranny takes 2.3 quarts. So, two full bottles and a little more than a quarter of a 3rd bottle.

Sounds like you just removed your axle without draining the transmission fluid; you should always drain the trans before removing either axle.

Undo the drain bolt on the bottom of the trans, drain all the fluid out then replace the drain bolt. Torque accordingly. Undo the bolt directly above the drain which is the fill hole. Fill trans with 2.2-2.3 quarts of Honda MT Fluid, basically with the car on a level surface fill until fluid starts running out of the fill hole, then tighten the fill bolt, torque accordingly.

Do this and you should be fine. I'd get a manual, sounds like you may need some tips on axle seal replacement, the Honda manual has a step by step walk through.
