Default My car doesn't want to start. Ignition coil maybe?

95 GSR.
Stock motor.
Haven't played with the car in the past 6 months.

I took my dizzy apart and the rotor looks like this:

Stupid question since I plan on replacing this either way... Is this normal wear?

I also tested the resistance between terminals A and B and it came out to be 0.7 ohms. The bible says I should be around 0.6-0.8 ohms. Looks normal to me.

Between the A terminal and the secondary winding terminal I have 10.7k ohms, right below the 12.8k ohm minimum.

Is my ignition coil really dead? Is there anything else that could have cause the car to not start all of a sudden? I can't think of anything else to check before I bum a ride to the dealer 30 miles away for parts.

Not sure about the rotor but replace it anyway wont hurt...

as for the coil I killed one doing a compression test and when i was testing it the numbers came back that it was good but once i replaced it car fired right up... it probably is bad

Thanks for the link Jimmy. I tested it by taking out a spark plug and cranking it. The coil isn't in spec at 10.7k ohms, but yeah, I just checked the coil and it has a small burn mark on it.

Looks fishy? I'm about 80% sure it's this thing unless that little burn mark is a normal thing.
