Default Fuel pressure

'00 GSR with P30 pistons. Was running lean... Installed an AEM fpr, what should I set the fuel pressure at? And when are you supposed to read it, at idle? With vacum line on or off?

PS: No wideband.

Cool. Mine was at 44ish but still felt sluggish. How about distributor timing, 16* or 14*?

If I recall, Retarding the timing will give you better top end, advancing timing will give you better throttle response, so give it a shot, just don't go adjusting beyond below 14 or above 18.

Should be getting my hands on a wideband soon. What a/f ration should I set my fpr to at idle?

fuel ratio should be around 14.5 at wide open throttle throughout the power band

And how did you come to this conclusion? ever see what happens to a piston when tuned at 14.5:1 at wot? maybe not right away but in a little time...

Set the fuel pressure to 40 at idle. You need to get a wideband and Netpune or Hondata and a datalogging cable to tune that motor or your going to blow it very shortly.

As a matter of fact you should not drive it around unless you are attempting to street tune it.
