Fuel pressure

'00 GSR with P30 pistons. Was running lean... Installed an AEM fpr, what should I set the fuel pressure at? And when are you supposed to read it, at idle? With vacum line on or off?
PS: No wideband.

If I recall, Retarding the timing will give you better top end, advancing timing will give you better throttle response, so give it a shot, just don't go adjusting beyond below 14 or above 18.

And how did you come to this conclusion? ever see what happens to a piston when tuned at 14.5:1 at wot? maybe not right away but in a little time...

Set the fuel pressure to 40 at idle. You need to get a wideband and Netpune or Hondata and a datalogging cable to tune that motor or your going to blow it very shortly.
As a matter of fact you should not drive it around unless you are attempting to street tune it.
