ok so i have an 89 hatch dx. it so mostly stock. it has a d15b2, im not relay sure what the b2 part means but from what i have herd it better than a b1. it is 5-speed with a cable clutch. interior is clean, the seats don't fit very well but they work i guess. the only thing i have done is seats from, i think, a 97 civic and the shift **** from the same car. a short shifter, the dash clock (i stole it from a junk yard when i was 18 because they wanted 27 dollars for it!! i feel bad about it now) a lime green intake, which i also feel bad about now, and a spoon header, connected to a 2 1/4'' custom exhaust(none of that loud stuff but a nice sound)













alright, i have a few questions:
i have the parts in the pictures below for the mpfi swap i have:

the manifold,


not sure which one i want to use



wiring harness from an si,


injector box


fuel rail,
injectors but im not sure fi they will work,


a dizzy that im not sure if its the right one,


and a tb that only lines up with 3 of the 4 blots for it on the inmanny. so i think maybe its not the right one?ha-ha
and the pm6 ecu under it

what else do i need. you see, i drive the car so i don't really want it to be out of commission for a long time so i need everything together are all the parts the right ones? i can take more pics if i need and any help or advice is appreciated

You'll need a can of spraypaint for that valve cover too

 

ha i think i read that that adds 5 whp!

 

It looks/sounds like you'll need a wiring diagram to make that si harness interface with the dpfi body harness? If your totally ****, you might need the "mpfi specific" intake manifold brace? Bump for the two-tone paint and the checkered garage floor!!!! FTW

 

does anyone know what TB this is and why it doesnt fit onto the mani?

on one side it has "GF" and "IPT" and on the other it has "12345678
and the 7 is marked. i can take pic.s tomorrow.

LOOK LIKE YOU WILL ALSO NEED THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET AND TB GASKET ( THROTTLE BODY) AND IS WOULD HURT TO REPALCE YOUR OLD COOLANT IF YOU HAVENT DONE THAT ALREADY....

 

yeah, i've got the gaskets i need i just need to know why this TB won't work. when i try to put it onto the manni. only 3 of the 4 bolts line up.

 

WRONG YEAR TB. FIND OUT WHAT YEAR MANIFOLD YOU HAVE.

 

WHEN doing the mpfi swap do i have to get all different sensors or will the dpfi ones work?
