And not seeing apparently. Hella annoying glare and poor light spread with bad output bulbs FTW!
I like the rest of the car, but 12k HIDs scream RICE.
Just an FYI-
The most usable light comes in at 4-4500k, and OEM HIDs fall into that color range. The higher you go up the kelvin ratings, the less light output there is. 12k i'd be surprised if you're putting out as much light as your stock halogens.
The different colors that you see on HID equipped cars is due to the projector. Lens curvature, thickness, and geometry of the projector housing itself determines how the light is reflected and refracted and that's when you get different colors. For example, the S2000 has the sharpest cutoff of all projectors, and you get the rainbow of colors due to the sharpness of the cutoff- projectors with a duller cutoff do not produce as much color.
So i'm always an advocate of retrofit > anything else.
I'd seriously consider getting rid of those worthless blue bulbs before a cop with in a bad mood cites you for impersonating an officer just because he can.

As much as I agree retro > HIDs in stock housings, I still plan on doing HID bulbs soon. I can't justify a grand for lightbulbs/new housings in a honda civic (retros). I'd much rather just spend $150 and get slightly better output. Right now, the stock lights are horrific. Sometimes when I'm driving around, I wind up turning the lights off and on just to make sure they're working.

When you've worked with xenon lights and have been a member on here and hidplanet.com for 4 years let me know and we can talk.
Visibility is not glorious compared to a real HID solution that isn't more color than output. I tried to give you the technical reasoning behind what I said but if you don't want to accept it i'm not the ricer with a cheap kit in my housings so mah whip looks tight yo.

lol you need to do some serious research before you say how glorious your lighting is ....
you need to understand why ALL manufacturers with HID on their cars stay around the 4500k range.
I would like to see you drive in the rain and see how glorious it is really ...

Well, since you all have been in my car.. and drove in the rain.. you must know what your talking about.... what do i know right?
I do know.. that i can see a hell of a lot better with those lights as opposed to stock lightening.. rain-snow what have you-
so its cool im glad you guys are supportive. but i think ill be alright... (visually)
and yes.
i know about the drop factor..
unfortunatly im going on deployment soon.. and feel no need to rush anything. the car is going to be around for a while, and id rather take it slow.

and those don't look purple to me.
