car shaking/engine
hi last night i turned on my car it wasnt warmed up so i drove it and in freeway i noticed it started getting shaky & when i parked it still shaked when i poped my hood and looked at the engine i noticed the engine was kinda shaky too any ideas?
The motor mounts are what your engine is held up by foo. if you dont know what it looks like then just look at the black piece of metal connected to the engine on the right side of the bay there are 2 pieces of metal that are bolted to the mount. then check the one that lmike6453 said. If you cant figure that out go to a shop!
i didnt neither at first but it's real easy, if you can locate it...
take a flashlight and look at the rubber as close to it as possible to see if there is cracking or brokeness...there is a "shaft" that goes through the rubber which should look like it's in the center of the metal mount housing

I had an issue like this due to not getting a regularly scheduled tune-up on my very first car. After tune-up problem fixed. Wasn't very mechanically inclined back then....
