Default 88civichb any ideas?

i just got a 88 civic hb standard. so its the slow *** 4 speed lol. any ideas on what i should do with it? im deff. planning to swap it asap. just im on a tight money fund right now cause i only make like $550.00 every two weeks. but so far i have gutted the rear out and fixed all the rust and dents.

Cheapest and easiest is to swap trannys. From a 4 to a 5 speed. Direct bolt on. And for sure swap dpfi to mpfi. You will thank me later. This just my opinion. I love single cams. Late

Id just try and find a nice d16z6 or y8 with tranny. One paycheck should take care of that. Another 500 will get you whatever else you need to swap it in. Take some time collecting all the parts you need. Dont rush **** cause it'll only end up cost you more.

well i thin i wanna do the d16z6 swap..for now till i gather up some cash. then my dream is a b20z with gsr tranny..but how hard is that d16z6 swap? dr.nick could you please help my by lettin me kno all i will need?

Im still in the middle of rebuilding my z6, so Im not an expert...at least not yet, lol. But for the most part you need a d16z6 long block with cable tranny, distributor, intake manifold, p28 5-speed ECU, and harness. Most of everything else you can get from whats on your car.
