Ive never really looked at them closely.. are the front blinkers clear? and are the only amber lights/lenses(color) on the car the sidemarkers?

OEM bulbs are amber, but mine came clear with my used front. i have been looking for the specific bulb part number, but cannot find it. Does anyone know the size for the turn signal bulb for jdm front end?

 

Yeh.. i dont want big amber lights next to my Phillips kit thats going in... anyone have a suggestion to get a bulb that will fit & match the HIDs nicely, in place of the stock AMBER turn signal bulbs? A model # or a brand/series...

to suit your needs i would go with the phillips bulbs. when bulb is on it is a bright amber, so that the cops won't hassle you, but when not blinking it looks clear, the best of both worlds. But since I'm a JDM junkie I'm goin with the full amber bulbs

 

Does the retro fit kit come with the clear turn signal housing? If so... yer saying I will basically have a choice of a clear(comes with Phillips retro kit) or an amber plastic(comes w/stock JDM front kit)?

its a 1157 bulb. identical to the one in the usdm turn signal housing

if you need a yellow bulb, philips silverstars are great...otherwise b1 hybrids work

 

Anyone have pictures of different bulbs combos with HID lighting on the ITR's?

I saw 1FastR's (Chris's).. .and it looked great, i hope he responds, i am wondering what he is running.

this is with oem amber corners (fairly hard to see in broad daylight... but you can still see the orange with the light on or off), amber city lights, and philips hid

 

I doubt that's gonna happen.

one of the above posts says that the us corner bulbs should fit the jdm housing, but when i first did my conversion, i tried to swap the bulbs, but they did not fit. I could be just trippin, but could someone else tell me if they are the same?
