Default Engine whine, like a supercharger???

So yeah, my car sounds like it has a supercharger, but it doesn't...

d16z6
open header'sish(its connected to the piping, but its not screwed on...)
Injen Intake with K&N filter
160 degree Moss Thermostat.
8mm spark plug wires.

Thats basically it, the whine is completely rpm dependent so it's not the tranny or axles, hopefully. It whines both when the clutch is engaged and disengaged so it's not the clutch. I've been pushing it all night, and it has yet to fail on me or blow up or w/e. I have a very short video and a sound thingy, not the best quality but I'll get more in the morning if it's needed.

the video will be posted after its done processing or w/e.

the first thing that comes to mind for me is the timing belt. when it's adjusted too tightly it will whine like a SC. (98-01 accord 4cyl are the loudest when properly adjusted, so if you have access to one to listen too it may help)

other possibilities, anything with a bearing in it including the water pump, the alternator, any idler pulley. although most bearings will have a squeek or "roar" when they wear out.

its not that nasty whine of a wet ac or ps belt, no ac or ps. heres a bad video, cant really hear it. ill make some on the way to work. I think it might be the tight timing belt.

yes i do have a system.

The weird thing is, I havent touched my timing belt, when I first got the car it didnt make this sound, could it be possible that it skipped a teeth and became tight? or maybe water getting on it had something to do to it?

Yeah timing belt tension will cause that problem as well as an audio system. You will usually only notice whining with a system if you have an amp powering your door speakers. Try disconnecting you're amp (remove fuse at battery first) and see if that fixes it. It'll be alot quicker than adjusting you're timing belt tension.
