have SiR ek4, will a skunk2 intake manifold give me more hp
I have a 95 ek4 SiR was wondering is it worth puttin a skunk2 intake manifold on it with a type r trottle body for more gains.....and if so what kind of gains will i get and do i need to upgrade anything else? I have a straight through exaust and out take manifold already....open to suggestions thanks

you can build much more power with a new and bigger mani so i would do it anyway you look at it...i think they garantee like 8-15hp os somethin(obviously not enough to really feel a diff) but vtec is a lot lounder when it engauges

I have a skunk2 straight through with a 4 into 1 outtake manifold, and now that im getting the skunk2 intake manifold hopefully fittin a type r trottle boby what do you think the gains will be then......? and can you suggest any other mods.....!!!

DON'T PUT A SKUNK 2 IM ON AN OTHERWISE STOCK INTERNALS B16A
There were dyno results posted by Mike K years ago where they tested a stock B16A2 with i/h/e and the stock IM and then the Skunk2, and while the Skunk2 posted a +2 PEAK horsepower difference, the low/midrange and every rpm below 8000 was LOWER with the Skunk IM.
The Skunk2 is designed for a 1.8L engine with larger cams, so it is designed for an engine that already moved more air. The manifold design increases high rpm power on those engines, but on a B16A it hurts the rest of the rpm range more than it helps.

nice one for that mate.....!!! but what kind of other mods can i do then to tweet my SiR for max preformance.....!!! because the last thing i want is power loss....!!!

Will it not give me more gains with a teg type r trottle body on it to.....? Or will i still lose that bit of power, i have a 4 into 1 out take manifold with a straight through skunk2 on it to...!!!
