Default Safely Removing the "R" Stickers?

How do i manage to remove The R sticker on my ITR, i guess from pressure washing it the top of the R on the pass side is missing, im pissed because i know how EXPENSIVE this damn sticker is and now i think my car looks GEY, some one told me to get a heat gun and it should come right off, any one else have any different suggestions for this? and also a good site to get OEM Acura parts because my local dealer is selling them at 68bucks, maybe there is something cheaper out.....

I just used a hair dryer to heat them up a little and they peeled right off........

The little bit of glue that was left came off w/ a little goof off and then a little wax......

look here for new stickers...

Go to the hardware store and buy a bottle of "Goo-Gone". Rub that around the edges of the sticker and you should be able to get it up. Then peel off.

MEK (Methel Ethel Keytone) will take it right off. It will eat right through the sticker. You can get it at Lowes or Home Depot.

my buddy recently removed his only problem being even after a machine polish you can still easly make out the area they covered.

the paints just 10 years brighter than rest of the car.

You'll see where the sticker was regardless because the paint wasn't exposed. A heat gun or hair dryer is safest, heat the section your removing and work your way across and dont hold it on one spot for too long. When you use chemicals on paint there is always a chance the it might react with it and start peeling .

On a side note. I washed my R the other day with my power washer and someone had changed the nozzle and i blasted my sticker off the side. I know i'm retarded. I didn't even think to look cuz no one else should have changed the nozzle. So perfect timing for this thread.

Use a razorblade. J/K don't freak out guys!

This happened to me before at the car wash, pissed me off alot as well.

If you know someone at a dealership, alot of them have this clear decal removal solvent (better than goo-gone) that works amazing.

I re-badged my G35 with that stuff. Removed the foam backing from the letters easily.

My R started to peel off the back and actually have a new rear decal for the back en route from Son's.
