So for the past month or so my speedometer has been going crazy on me from time to time but I ignored it because I assumed it was the vss and haven't had time to mess with it. Yesterday I finally got around to trying to fix it after my speedometer finally stopped all together, and so I cleaned the connecters on the sensor. Now my speedometer is working just fine again, but all of a sudden now my odometer isn't working. I understand that the odometer is dependent on the speedometer but is there a wire going to the vss that controls the odometer itself somehow? Just seems weird that I mess with the vss and now the odometer isn't working all of a sudden. Any ideas?
