where can i redline the b18a1?? is 6800 fine without floating a valve?

6800 is the stock redline. Wouldn't do any good cuz its not making power past there.

a b18b head will it gain any power????

i take mine to max which is 7250 all the time, there right it aint making any more power near that rpm range but sounds great but i always service it every 5thou and warm it up b4 doing that so i trust it to hold together after owning it 8yrs, but with head porting, camshafts, springs, retainers etc plus good intake and extractors/exhaust a moderate increase would bevery noticeable.
