planning on heading out to azusa and gmr this weekend, did anyone hear/know if gmr is open?

 

i was up there this morning. upper section of azusa (passed the ohv) is still closed, backside is slightly dirty, and frontside is nice and clean. i'll be up there tomorrow too.

cool! i'll probably run into you. i think i seen Gixx312 and TMKPrez up there as i was going down 39 to go home.

 

haha.. Who were you riding with? We were up there. It was a nice day. GMR was exactly like you described it. On the way back down from Azusa though, CHP was there... so we had to take it easy.. MIGHT be up there tomorrow, but not until 11 or so because I have to meet up with a client..

yeah, i think i came up behind you guys just as you guys were coming up on the CHP.
you guys pulled over once you guys were out of the canyon (by the condos) right? if so, then that was me right behind you guys.

Yeah.. that was us.. We pulled over because my front wheel felt really funny. It happened when I ran over something small... Maybe it just freaked me out for a bit, but it felt like the front tire was losing pressure or it was bent... After we pulled off and inspected everything, it felt normal after that.. So maybe it was just all in my head..

I'll be up there tomorrow. I'm having problem with my right turns.. It feels as if my upper body doesn't want to work with me going right..

ha! i thought you guys pulled over 'cause of the Azusa PD that was 2 cars behind us. he followed me and my buddies for a while before making a right turn on a side street.

yeah that CHP was a buzz kill. I though he radioed the other cop LoL when I saw the PD i was like WTF

 

The front side is open, pretty clear except for some minor dirt. No major rocks. On the back side towards the east fork, I noticed some small rock slides. Exercise caution.

 

Was there this morning around 9am had a blast good ride got back home (long beach) at 1130 seened a lot of others also on GMR side, I also finally got my right knee down to day (finally yes) after all that practice practice practice everytime I went now time for some new tires lol
