Well....you have the illegal exhaust and got caught so you should just plead guilty being as you won't get out of it.

Lol, you must of been doing something stupid to have him pull you over.

I drive 15-20 mins into NY back and fourth, with No muffler atm, in front of cops,
and I have no problem with them, but I'm not revving the **** out of it either.

But yeah, don't drive in NY anymore, then you won't have to worry about the ticket.

plead guilty, go to court so you won't have to pay for the ticket, just tell them that you changed your exhaust back already, I got exhaust in Northern Virginia 8 times in the past 2 months. it's best to plead guilty. or just like me I installed 2007 S2000 exhaust, it works just as good and cops totally ignores me

if you have an older picture with the stock exhaust
just bring that picture in to court and be like i changed it back
and most likely the will let you go or reduce the ticket

if you have the silencer and its quiet then i think you should plead not guilty. wtf did you do so wrong. id go to court and talk to a public defender before the actual court date. you shouldent have to pay for your legal exhaust, its not even smog equipment, just a noise violation. k im done..

i run 2.5in all the way back to a spoon n1 and no exhaust tickets.

yes the after market will probably bolt up to the stock axle back, at most you'd need to rotate the flange.

if you have access to photoshop...take a pic of the rear end of your car and photoshop the muffler to make it smaller and look stock...you could do anything with photoshop...

as far as fitting the type r with the piping...you could do it..just create a flange or w/e and it'll work

oh and i'm not sure bout this...but i think you could ask to take a decibal test or w/e...

i mean its like asking to see the radar (their proof) if you were speeding you know??

i mean i got a ticket for a loud muffler and i had no choice but to swap it out...it was **** anyway...so thats why i got a ws II catback...my vid is in my signature if you wanna see it...its quiet and sounds nice so it satisfies you and the cops...oh and in vtec it sounds competition like...to me at least

Hey instead of an itr, just get an apexi world sport 2 exhaust. If you want silence but performance, thats the one. I have one ( honestly i hate it cause its too quite for me) but during mid to high its great. Plus you get to hear that vtec more

It is a fix-it ticket right? You can take it to a decibal test W/ the silencer, at a state ref I think, and have them test it to see if it is truly to loud. Or you can change it to stock and bring a picture to court.
