today i was driving it was fine got gas an hour and a half before hand
every once in a while the engine will sputter real quick like one small pop sound from the exhaust but not like a loud back fire

today out o fno where it did a few

pop pop pop

small
then it went crazy
pop pop po p bang pop pop
like crazy and the car was jerking at each pop like it was backfiring. sounded so bad.
no overheating or anything
it was like it was sputtering and it wouldnt stop.
pulled over turned off the car
turned it back on drove in this neighborhood and it was still doing it
turned it off for a few minutes. i tried turning it back on and it died but then turned on
still sputtering not as bad but still bad.

any ideas?
its like i hit the gas and it sputters and goes but not as fast as it should as i normally hit the gas.
it sputters and goes slow
taking it in tomorrow but any ideas???

mis fire. duh

 

check your rotor inside the disi. mine got loose once and did some thing similar.
