Default itr spoiler & battery question

i believe the holes i circled in red are the correct ones... the ones in black incorrect
correct me if i am wrong
timeline

1) came spoilerless w/ no 3rd brakelight (billion holes on trunk and quarter panel) weight reduction
2) put on 3 piece for 3rd brakelight
3)took off 3 piece because i have acquired a 3rd brake light
4) awaiting to put on itr spoiler
5) also my battery died, whats a good place to change/get a battery w/o bS in fremont/unioncity/newark region
(never had to change battery, thanks)

is there suppose to be that much of a distance between spoiler sitting position and end of trunk? yes i know there is suppose to be a distance but i do not know how far it is legitimately

i have more holes on the quarterpanel as well...

there is a little bit of a gap between the back of the spoiler and the end of the hatch. This is because the spoiler design puts the top of it hanging over the trunk just a tad.

I'd suggest measuring (nd then mirroring to the other side of the trunk) from the holes you showed in this picture:

If you buy a battery from Advanced Auto or Autozone, usually they'll install it for free.

Its almost impossible to tell from the pictures where you need to drill exactly. Just take a simple ruler and measure exact dimesions from a point of reference and you'll be fine.

I think its the black ones. The red ones are for the wires on the stock spoiler. I might be wrong though.

Regarding the battery, just buy one and swap it. It takes about 15 minutes total.

For the spoiler, the stock bolt spacing is just about 1 7/8". The red ones seem to be correct. The outer ones that penetrate the sealant are mystery holes.
