Hot Stall Problem 1990 Integra
I have a 1990 Integra RS Manual with 123K miles. The car stalls when it is hot outside (+ 80 degrees). If I wait a few seconds (let's say 10 to 15) it will start again and sometimes stall and sometimes not. I can usually get it started within let's say five starts. When it stalls, it will be within a few seconds of starting. It will either drop immediately to 0 RPMs, or be hovering around 500 and stuttering and then stall.
I have had this happen as the first start of the morning and also yesterday I stopped the car after driving for one-hour for maybe 1 minute and it took me 3 starts to get it going.
The problems started may be four years ago after having some clutch work, exhaust and I believe some work on the distributor. But it has gotten much worse lately.
I checked the TW sensor and it appears to be working within spec. Anyother ideas?
