H22a swap>>auto to stick?
thinkin bout swappin a H22a into my 6th gen accord, but my accord is auto...how difficult or what problems would i run into if i tried to install the H22a and try to change the tranny from a auto to stick? And is it okay to install a OBD1 engine in a car with OBD2 sensors?
hmm since you got such a new car and it's a 6th gen I would consider selling it for a lude. It will cost more than a 5th gen H22 swap and auto-manual since you should get a OBD II motor and labor will cost more since the shop has probably not worked on 6th gens before.
What you could do is, get a Level Ten Buildup on your transmission. And do a custom set up on the f23.
If you wanted to do a h22a swap into your 6th gen you would have to find a 1998 Engine (to be legal), which is more money because it is ODB 2.
Changing your transmission from Auto -- > stick, you won't have many problems. I haven't had many, except that I don't have reverse lights or a speedometer (things you learn to live without) but, they are necessity for everyday driving.
