Default CEL -searched, this is new

A little help please. I got the 4 CEL's that commonly pop up on 96-98 honda civics. I drive a stock ex d16y8 with i/h/e. These 4 CEL's are prim and second o2 sensors, speed sensor, and electrical load detector. Read some stuff on here and people were getting the same codes, except their fuses (alternator) were blowing out and their cars dying. I have no blown fuses, no sign of wear on the wires in back of my throttle body, switched all speedsensor, underhood fuse box, o2s. CEL still there, tried erasing it with code reader-still there. What could it be? Has anyone experienced this? By the way, the CEL poped up a month ago and I'm still driving my car fine. The only thing is that the speedometer goes crazy. Thanks for any help.

I know you said you erased them with a code reader but did you also reset the ECU? Dont know if itd make any difference or not. Just trying to help.

How would I reset the ECU other than pulling the neg. off the battery? Would I pull the harness off the ECU? Thanks, any suggestions help at this point.

I've already pulled the neg. off a couple of times. What I haven't done is pull the harness off the ECU. Would it matter?

Easiest method -- Pull the 7.5A BACKUP fuse for a couple of minutes and then reinsert.

Sure sounds like the common short circuit problem that affects the fuse 15 circuit:

Have you checked for other possible blown fuses?

Have you inspected other areas of the wire harness for damage?
