I have a 94 GSR well maintained. I recently got a skunk2 intake manifold from a friend after putting it on i had a little trouble with some vacuum lines and then i got it started it. it was idling high around 1500-2k. so i turned it off and made sure everything was okay. i unpluged the IAC and started it up for about 20 seconds and then the car died on me. It hasnt started up since. The plugs only have about 30k on them, and same with the wires. I went down and got a new ignition coil and still nothing. The car cranks hard, so the battery should be fine. But it wont start up. The cap and rotor also are newer and good condition. Any ideas what it could be? Oh yeah and im getting fuel to the motor... so idk

 

when you unplugged the iac did the high idle fix it self. Chances are you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

 

make sure you didnt swap the throttle body and map sensor plugs. its a common mistake. there the same plugs

yeah it went back down to around 750 and was fine...
but now the car wont start at all? any ideas?

 

I dont think i did but if i did swap sensors would the car not start up after?
and how can you tell the difference between the two?
